Eligibility: Westgate Resorts x Miami Heat Showcase Showdown is open only to those who sign up at the Westgate Sports & Entertainment event by entering their information and completing all areas in the submission form. Must be (i) twenty-one (21) years of age or older as of the date of entry and (ii) be in current compliance with any Miami Heat, NBA, Kaseya Center, and state/local requirements for attendance at a public event, Miami Heat event or NBA event, including, without limitation, any special requirements for being on the basketball court of an NBA/Miami Heat basketball game to be eligible to win the first-place prize. The Giveaway is only open to legal residents of the United States and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Westgate Resorts, Ltd. (the “Sponsor”), Central Florida Investments, Inc. Miami Heat Limited Partnership, Basketball Properties, Ltd, or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. Only one winner per household and only one entry prize per household. A winner may only receive the first placed prize or the entry prize and may not win or receive both prizes. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or where not registered. How to Enter: The Giveaway must be entered between Tuesday, February 27, 2024 (02/27/2024) through Tuesday, April 30, 2024 (04/30/2024) while attending one of the five (5) Miami Heat games at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida during the giveaway period. Two people, over the age of 21, will be chosen per game that takes place during the Giveaway Period. All those in attendance and sitting in the crowd will be eligible to be randomly chosen to participate in the Showcase Showdown Giveaway. Each chosen entrant will have the opportunity to guess the price of a resort stay package and the entrant with the closest monetary guess to the actual value will be the winner. All chosen entrants must fulfill all Giveaway requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. You must fill in the information requested to be qualified to win. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules you may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
Prize and Prize Conditions: One (1) first place winner per game will receive a 4 Day/3 Night stay at a participating Westgate Resort* of their choice and an amenity. Blackout dates may apply. Based on availability and reservations are done on a first come, first served basis. Prizes include resort assessed taxes and fees for stay. Average retail value for each first-place prize will range from $630 to $1,300. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. Prize must be used by December 01, 2025. Must follow reservation directions provided by Sponsor and a reservation must be made at least 24 hours prior to arrival at resort. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner must pay security deposit for incidentals at resort check-in. The prize is nontransferable. Cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or package. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, the Sponsor, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the original prize (or that part of the prize) with an alternative prize to the equal monetary value and/or specification, unless to do so would be prohibited by law. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner is responsible for all incidentals, service charges, gratuities, personal expenses, and transportation. Any and all entrants participating in or using profanity, unsportsmanlike conduct, explicit or discriminatory language, and/or defamation of the Westgate brand or any and all others will be automatically disqualified at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any lost, garbled, incomplete, and/or corrupted entries, and qualified entries shall be determined in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name, likeness, photograph, statements and biographical information, voice, and address in all forms of media worldwide, in perpetuity, without limitation, notice or further compensation.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner selection and notification: The winner of the Giveaway will be selected from among the 2 participants chosen and will be decided by calculating the difference between the value of each guess and the value of the presented package and the participant with the closest guess will be the winner. The winner will be informed while at the game during the block of time used to conduct the Showcase Showdown. If winner fails to meet the entry qualifications or fails to claim the prize, then the runner up will be chosen and offered the prize. Giveaway rules may be changed at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Giveaway is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE GIVEAWAY AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

Release and Limitations of Liability: The winner agrees to release and forever hold harmless Sponsor, Miami Heat Limited Partnership, Basketball Properties, Inc., the NBA and its members teams, Kaseya Center, Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami, and each of their respective related and affiliated entities and the respective officers, directors, employees, members, affiliates and agents of the foregoing (collectively, the ‘Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action whatsoever arising out of participation in the Giveaway or any claims arising from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, or judgments (including without limitation personal injuries, death, damages, loss or destruction of property rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light) arising out of or relating to entrant’s entry or participation or announcement, acceptance, ownership, or acceptance, use or misuse of prizes. All entrants agree to release and forever hold harmless Sponsor, its related and affiliated entities and their respective officers, directors, employees, members, affiliates, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action whatsoever arising out of any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Giveaway.
Rights Granted by you: By entering this content you understand that Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Giveaway, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.
Disputes/Mandatory ARBITRATION: THIS GIVEAWAY IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF USA AND FLORIDA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. In the event of any controversy, claim or dispute between the Entrant and the Sponsor arising out of or relating to the Giveaway or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, conscionability, or validity thereof, including any determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding arbitration. Arbitration proceedings shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and may take place via the Internet and/or telephonically in accordance with the rules of the chosen arbitration service provider. The arbitrator shall be neutral and independent and shall comply with the AAA code of ethics. The award rendered by the Arbitrator shall be final, binding on all parties, but subject to review in accordance with applicable statutes, rules and regulations governing arbitration awards. Judgment on the award made by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction over the parties. If either party fails to comply with the arbitrator’s award, the injured party may petition the circuit court for enforcement. The parties agree that either party may bring claims against the other only in his/her or its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. Further, the parties agree that the arbitrator may not consolidate proceedings of more than one person’s claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA’s rules. In the event a party fails to proceed with arbitration, unsuccessfully challenges the arbitrator’s award, or fails to comply with the arbitrator’s award, the other party is entitled to costs of suit, including a reasonable attorney’s fee for having to compel arbitration or defend or enforce the award. Binding Arbitration means that both parties give up the right to a trial by a jury. It also means that both parties give up the right to appeal from the arbitrator’s ruling except for a narrow range of issues that can or may be appealed. It also means that discovery may be severely limited by the arbitrator. This section and the arbitration requirement shall survive any termination.
By participating in this Giveaway, the entrant agrees that none of the Released Parties will be held liable for any actual or potential losses, including without limitations, compensation, or consequential damages, either in contract or in tort, by either person or property, arising out of this Giveaway or in connection therewith or by misrepresentation by a third party. Sponsor is not to be held responsible for any act of God, and/or any other circumstances beyond its control.
You acknowledge and agree that, in any court case you may file, you WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THAT YOU CANNOT FILE A CLAIM IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY OR AS A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, OR FILE A CLAIM AS A CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR MASS ACTION OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
